COLORS-Patches, Shirts, Pins, etc.

Jimbo has reported the following in the Forum area:
I am happy to let everyone know that I have submitted the colors that Artie made and I expect them to be back in about two maybe three weeks. I also am having a tape made so we can have shirts, hats , Sweatshirts, ect made. I also sent the artwork off to a pin Company and am waiting to hear on the prices of them. In any case within a month we should be hooked up with our colors and wears. If anyone has a question please feel free to speak up . Jimbo
Hint: now might be a good time to let us know your intentions on truley joining and buying colors etc., it will be nice to have a ballpark figure for ordering etc.

Ok so here is the update on our colors. Artie has made the final cut and has given the go ahead to have the colors produced. We are looking at about a week to 10 days for delivery from today 3/22/10. The price for a full set will be between $60.00 & $65.00. I also had name tags made as per Artie's spects. IE "original Soul", "club Member" and "family" these will match the rocker colors and will be an extra cost. If you need an American Flag It will be included in the color package at no extra charge, just let me know before hand. We need payment when you pick up your set. Just to clarify Jimbo's post, this was not a solo decision on my part or on Jimbo's. It was collective as to what was decided upon by all of us as the design of our colors. After conferral with the embroiderer and a few minor changes, made only to best represent what we had all decided upon regarding color, detail, and size (especially the front patch which had to be reduced but in the end should end up being just about the size of an actual shield which is pretty cool actually when you think about it :cool, the "final cut" was made and the colors were ordered as Jimbo has reported. I believe that he also meant to put "Charter Member" as the name tag patch in case you were puzzled. Once again, Jimbo has done an outstanding job and I think we will all be proud of our colors, he has shown patience with me as I have sent back samples that I felt needed more detail and the end result should be very much to our liking. He is also working on shirts in a very cool black and white design that I also think everyone will love. He is to be commended. Give the man a little room and he will work wonders for us. Thanks again Jimbo, I can't wait to see the finished product.

Because we are making a brand new set and Artie is a stickler for perficition I have been working with the company to get them just right. Today I had a meeting with them and we should have a sample set within a week and if they look good everyone should be able to buy there sets a week to ten days after that. I must say that what I saw today looked very cool, we just needed to get the some colors right. I know that this has taken a little longer that everyone has expected but there is a lot of work to do when a start up set has to be made. I also have been working on getting shirts made up but again we are designing our own stuff and that taked time , work and MONEY please give us some time to get it right. If anyone has any questions feel free to call me at 516-318-3215 I work midnights 3 sqd NYPD so anytime during the day is good up untill around 7pm then I am sleeping & I turn my cell ringer off!!!! Thank again Jimbo, I'm sure all can be patient so that it gets done right. I know you too are a stickler for perfection so I trust that all will come out great. Let me also say, thank you for taking on the task of wears, it is good to know that someone such as yourself who has vested interest and genuine care for this club as a charter member and friend is doing this. By your calculations we should still have everything in order for the Cardillo Run.
